Over the weekend, the Chicago rapper, Lil Durk took to the social media to drop a hint about his recent work, he announced that he'd be dropping a Deluxe album soon. This would be an addition to his most recent album, The Voice. Later he disclosed that he'd be taking a break from social media until it drops in a couple of days.
The original album, The Voice, was released only 2 weeks ago. It consisted of 16 tracks with features such as Young Thug, YNW Melly, 6lack, and the late rapper, King Von whom the album was dedicated to.
Close friend of Durk's and fellow OTF member, King Von, was shot outside an Atlanta hookah lounge on November 6th and passed away shortly after. At only 26-years old, King Von's passing affected many and Lil Durk has made it his mission to continue on his legacy through support and remembrance via this album and more, like his hashtag "#DOITFORVON."
Now that we know the deluxe is swiftly approaching, fans are eager for what's to come. "A couple days," is pretty vague but hopefully it's worth the wait.
